Tefnut

Is an ancient Egyptian goddess who represents the elements of moisture and fertility. She is believed to have been one of the first deities worshiped in Egypt, and is often depicted as a lion-headed woman or as a woman with the head of a lioness. Tefnut was also associated with the sun and the moon, and was seen as a protector of the pharaohs. As the goddess of moisture, Tefnut was believed to bring the life-giving waters of the Nile, which were essential to the survival of the people of Egypt. She was also associated with fertility and childbirth, and was often invoked by women who were trying to conceive. Tefnut was highly revered by the ancient Egyptians, and her worship was an important part of their religious practices. Today, Tefnut remains an important figure in Egyptian mythology and her legacy can be seen in the many depictions of her that still exist in art and literature.
